Water Activities

SAIL

Open to all ages and ability levels, sailing is a great lifelong sport that teaches teamwork, collaboration, and confidence. Our classroom is the beautiful Chesapeake Bay where you’ll find out why Tockwogh shines as one of the best water sport camps in the country!

  • Beginner: Sail on Flying Scots (with instructor)
  • Intermediate/Advanced: Sail on your own Sunfish, or learn about navigating on our 29 foot Keel!

Waterski

There is nothing like the smile of a camper when they get up on skis for the first time or land their first trick! Waterskiing and wakeboarding stand as two of the most rewarding activities at camp! While open to all ages and skill levels, our progressive program moves campers up to the next level after successfully demonstrating skills needed to advance.

  • Beginner: Ski off the beach with help in the water
  • Intermediate/Advanced: Campers who are able to stand on their own will have the opportunity to ski or wakeboard out on a boat.

PADDLE

Paddlesports give campers the opportunity to learn various water activities, hangout, race and play fun games!

  • Paddle-boarding: Paddle-board yoga now available for older villages!
  • Canoeing: Older villages only
  • Kayaking / Corcling: Round saucer-like kayaks – perfect for younger villages
