Executive Director
Liz has been a part of Camp Tockwogh since her days as a camper in the 80s, and has been the Executive Director since 2008. She has also worked at YMCA Camp Erdman in Hawaii, YMCA of the Rockies in Colorado, and was a Program Director at Camp Tockwogh. Liz has two daughters that attend camp in the summer, and you can find their cat, Dusty roaming around camp too. She met her husband, Regan in 1995 while working at camp as a Chickasaw Village Chief (and he was Iroquois Village Chief). Liz loves ALL things camp, and can often be found singing along with the campers in their Dining Hall cheers. In her free time, you can find Liz cheering on her daughters from the sidelines of one of their many sports or attending live bluegrass shows.
Camp Director
Pat started his Tockwogh journey as a Camp Counselor in Summer 2010 and has been the Camp Director since fall of 2021. During his camp career, he has worked a variety of jobs from Head Counselor to Program Director. Pat is originally from Baltimore, MD and attended Stevenson University for Software Design. Prior to finding his love of camp, Pat worked for various software companies and bookstores. His favorite part of the job is the horses (aka the big dogs!). In his free time, Pat likes to read comic books and go to the movies.
Program Director: Waterfront Activities
Logan started as a camper in 2008 and hasn’t missed a summer yet! Spending his summers on the bay became a staple. In 2018, he began his journey on staff as a sailing instructor and has held various roles on the waterfront ever since. He started full-time in January of 2023 and is excited for many more summers on the bay. Logan is from Newark, DE and graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Marketing and Sport Management. His favorite part of camp is giving campers the opportunity to experience watersports for the first time. In his free time, he enjoys golfing with friends, hiking, and learning new recipes.
Program Director: Retreats & Family Camp
Julia, who has been a Tockwogh camper, LIT/CIT, and summer staff (2013-2015), joined our full-time team in March 2022. Before coming back to camp, she spent 5 years in Montana where she worked in tourism and hospitality – most recently in Glacier National Park. Julia is originally from Fort Washington, PA and graduated from Kutztown University in 2017 with a degree in Communications. Her favorite part of camp is watching the sunsets at Cho Beach and you can usually find her around camp with her dog Anna Banana!
Office Manager
Marisa has been working in our camp office since 2016. She is from Middletown, DE but has lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland since 2017 to be closer to camp. Marisa attended University of Delaware for Psychology and has previously worked at the Bear-Glasgow YMCA and Lower Bucks Family YMCA in Pennsylvania. Marisa’s favorite part of camp is that it is accessible to all – she loves working with our partner organizations to offer families scholarships. When she’s not at camp, you can find Marisa checking another national park off of her bucket list, cheering on Philadelphia sports teams, or spending time with her 3-year-old nephew! If you have any questions about your camper’s registration, you’ll likely get to talk to Marisa!

John Hughes has been a part of the YMCA of Delaware and YMCA Camp Tockwogh for many years, beginning his current role as Tockwogh’s Facilities Manager in 2001. He loves working with the Tockwogh team and spends his free time with his two poodles, Ruby and Barney.
Assistant Facility Director
Brandy is originally from Betterton, MD – just down the road from camp! She has been with the Y since 2002. Her favorite part of camp is when kids and staff ask questions and are interested in all that maintenance does for camp. Brandy enjoys playing with her doggo, Miner, and shooting billiards.
