Camp Tockwogh’s Annual Service Weekend!
April 4-6, 2025
In early April, Camp Tockwogh annually hosts a weekend for volunteers, former campers, families, staff, and alumni to help prepare camp for the upcoming conference and summer season. This is known as Service Weekend.
Service Weekend, a tradition at Camp Tockwogh, provides a unique opportunity to give back. Guests arrive on Friday and stay at camp until Sunday afternoon. Meals are provided on Saturday and Sunday. All participants receive a Camp Tockwogh Service Weekend shirt!
Camp Tockwogh is looking for volunteers with a positive attitude who are willing to roll up their sleeves and work hard. Duties will range from preparing activity areas for new guests to cleaning and organizing places like the dining hall or camp store. To help meet the needs of our growing number of campers, new structures will be built, and improvements will be made to current ones.
Service Weekend is an exciting and important weekend for all those involved and we’re looking for individuals and groups with the following skills:
- Cleaning and Organization
- Yard Work
- Grounds-keeping
- Construction
Registration fee is $35 per person and includes two nights of lodging, meals, and a service weekend t-shirt.
